Regina sprawled at her desk, flipping through piles of paperwork. She had been dreading this all day. So, she would pull out a sheet of paper stare at it and put it back in the manilla folder. However when she heard a knock at her door, she quickly threw them in the top drawer of her desk and sprinted to the door. “Hello, dear,” she greeted, flashing a polite smile. “Can I help you?”

“Yes, hello.” Lupin gave her a nod as she opened the door. This woman seemed kind enough. He didn’t know why he had heard rumors surrounding her ever since he came to town, which was only a few hours ago. “I was guided here by one of the other residents. He told me to speak with the mayor…? I’m new here, so I really don’t know my way around too well.”

“Yes. Of course, dear. Why don’t you come on in?” she offered, motioning for him to follow her to her desk. She scanned his face for a moment with hesitation, feeling a surge of power beaming from his body. She almost shivered, but quickly collected herself and sauntered over to her desk and took a seat. “Now, you may call me Madam Mayor. Who might you be?” she called to him as she shuffled through her desk for a map.
