Regina closed her eyes while she kissed him, hoping this nightmare would all be over soon. She needed her Philip back. So, as he mumbled her name, she pulled away, eyes wide with hope. “Philip,” she whispered back, an overjoyed smile crossing her lips.
“Philip. I love you too,” she breathed, caressing his face and wiping away his tears. She leaned in and kissed him once again. This time, however, she pressed her lips against his as lightly as possible for fear that something would break their love again.
Regina… How could he forget her? She was the only thing that made sense in his life; she was the one who keep him on the ground. “I’m so sorry…” He swallowed hard at her touch; his eyes looking down at the floor in shame; he just wanted to be happy with her- Just- Her; she was all he needed.
He closed his eyes; letting her kiss him; for a second his heart felt true happiness; breaking the shadows that had been clouding his judgment. “Regina I-” He muttered against her lips; but a twinge of pain hit his chest; a growl escaping the Prince’s throat; his legs got weaker; his body lose strength and he got in his knees front of her. “No…” He was able to mutter; it was almost as if a dark smoke was filling his head; erasing her face again while he fought against it; it was pointless and he knew it; but he didn’t wanted to lose her again.
“Philip,” she repeated, the tears forming in the corner of her eyes again. And, as he growled and fell to the floor, she followed him, reaching out to him. “This isn’t your fault,” she reassured, stroking his chest. “I’m not leaving you ever.” She continued to stoke his chest with one hand and caress his cheek with the other hand as she saw him struggle. “Fight it Philip. Please.”

Regina bit her lower lip as Philip repeated her name. And, her heart skipped a beat. Even her name sounded foreign. How...
