“No. No. No, dear. Magic requires all of your faith. It isn’t something you just ‘guess,’” she corrected, shaking her head and snickering once more. Her eyes moved from Amy’s to the hat and back again. “This is more than just a hat. It’s a way to another portal. Now are you ready to have a little more faith?” she almost cooed, starting to drive into town. 

Regina’s smirk made Amy want to just get out of the car, drop the stupid hat and run in the other direction. But she couldn’t. Apparently she had messed up their ovely town sign. And the prospect of going to another world was exicting. So Amy shrugged. “Sure, why not? Magical hat with a ticket to Wonderland. Okay. Stranger things have happened.” She laid her head back in the seat, barely aware of the town coming into view outside the car. What could the Mayor possibly want from Wonderland? And just what kind of town had she crashed into? “So is this what you usually do when someone crashes into your sign? Send them through hats to different worlds on errands? And just how exactly is this going to work? I go and get whatever, and you what? Drop the charges?” Amy asked the other woman skeptically. 

Regina threw back her head and laughed. It was just a single ha, but it appear as though she continued to silently laugh as she went back to smirking. “No, dear. Most people don’t crash into my sign. In fact, we don’t get many visitors at all. Nut yes, if you do this for me, I will take care of the sign myself,” she informed, her voice mostly flat, but with a hint of irritation. However, she caught a glance of the redhead in her mirror and saw the skepticism on her face, so she softened her features and furrowed her brows. “It’s funny, your words say you have been untouched by magic, but your tone suggests that you’ve dealt with something powerful before,” she sighed, pursing her lips and widening her eyes as the smirk dropped from her face. “Do you mind telling me since we’re along for the ride together?”
