“Philip Humber,” she murmured, feeling a pain in her chest similar to that of what she assumed her victims felt in their last moments before she crushed their hearts. And, she tried to move past the feeling, but she couldn’t. She wanted to leave. She tried pulling her hand away, but she was struck by his bright blue eyes. Damnit, she thought, her heart melting more as she turned back toward him. “Mills,” she whispered almost inaudibly. “Regina Mills. Are you satisfied, dear?”
“Regina Mills…” He repeated after her; his face had grown far too serious for some reason; especially because he never asked for someone to stay; that was very unlike him; but he didn’t want her to leave now and be someone he had the chance to met once; while a smile spread through his lips; he kept his eyes on hers. “Well you saved my life there… How could I ever pay you back?”
Regina bit her lower lip as Philip repeated her name. And, her heart skipped a beat. Even her name sounded foreign. How could he have this power over her? She tried to avert her eyes from his glowing blue eyes, but she couldn’t. So, she watched his face grow serious and she mirrored it. She felt like she was under spell herself. “You could let me leave,” she suggested, her tone flat as she turned her gaze away and rolled her eyes.
