“Prove it,” she spat, waving her arm and sending Elizabeth flying across the room. 

Her back hit the wall harshly, knocking the breath out of her. Recovering quickly, though, it takes a flick of her wrist to conjure two sets of cords, fingers curling toward her palm to bind them tightly around her mother.

“Good, but I think you can do better,” she barked, letting glowing purple balls form, breaking the restraints. And, as she dropped to the ground, she rose quickly and threw a fireball at Elizabeth. “Try this, dear.”
