Belle sat up as the peep hole to her room opened. Once again, she saw the eyes of the menacing and well-groomed woman watching her. This woman had been coming to visit her for as long as she could remember. Not that Belle could remember much about her life before she was placed in the mental ward. The woman scared her, yet held her interest as well. She never had spoken to her, always losing her tongue when she appeared. But maybe… maybe she could tell her why she was here… maybe she was from her past life… Stop being a coward and just say something, Belle!

Regina nodded, a slight smirk appearing on her lips as she realized that the brunette still knew nothing about her life before this hospital. So, she leaned as close to the peep hole as she could. “I come here because everyone deserves to have someone check up on them, dear. And, as mayor, I see to it that all of my citizens have this chance,” she lied, her voice raspy and unfazed as she quirked a brow.
