Regina snickered, circling Maleficent as she flaunted the heart in her hands. “Poor little dragon. You just wish you had the Grey Faces on your side. They are my friends now. I have no need for you,” she seethed, giving the heart another squeeze. “Do you still love me Maleficent? What do you love about me?” she taunted, squeezing the heart with two hands now. 

She dug her nails into her palms, glaring up at Regina daringly. She knew for a fact that one too-hard squeeze would end her life, but she would not obey Regina - not even when she was under the pull of greyface magic. She tilted her head back, clenching her jaw and gritting her teeth. “I never knew you had a need for me in the first place, dear.” She avoided the question, biting the inside of her cheek until it bled.

“Say it!” she spat, squeezing the heart at a pulsing rate, smirking as she tried to hide her laughter. It was almost impossible, considering the irony in the situation. “This time I want to hear it from your mouth not from a text you didn’t mean to send.”
