Ruby sighed after she was finally done with cleaning all the tables, it was still dawn, the sun was now appearing through some clouds which had a tendency to vanish soon. Suddenly she heared the tilt of the bell, meaning someone as just entered. Turning her, she shrugged once the girl saw the mayor. “What do you want Regina?” Ruby asked rolling her eyes.

Regina heaved herself out of her car as she pulled into a parking spot in the main drag and strolled up to the door of Granny’s. She had already had a long morning after a restless night’s sleep and all she wanted was some coffee or she wasn’t going to make it through the day. So, as she dragged herself into the diner, she sighed heavily at Ruby’s greeting. “Well, aren’t you a cheery one, dear. I was just going to get a cup of coffee unless you prefer I take my business elsewhere,” she drawled, returning the eye roll.
