“I don’t know, Regina. I’m sorry.” She went to her and held her tightly, “but if you need to cry I am here and you can cry as much as you want. Just get it all out. Your mother loved you in her own special way and just wanted what she thought was the best for you.” Sophia sighed and looked down, “It’s okay to miss her.”

“She really loved me. I know she did,” she choked, clinging to Sophia as she buried her head in Sophia’s shoulder. Her mother’s words echoed in her head- You would have been enough and she began sobbing.
