Ryker gave a small nod. “Yes, a God is what I am.” The Man turned sharply on his heel and watched her. “I was turned immortal at a young age. Granted abilities that men of this world will never have.” Jett would always be this way. A smug man he was but he knew his limits. At her offer of something to drink, he tipped his head politely. “I am fine, thank you though.” He rarely drank. When he did, it was after long days of work when he had paperwork to conclude. Ryker’s serpentine eyes lingered on her for a moment before he looked back down at the file.
“Then, I will see to it that she suffers much before she dies.” He muttered as he closed the file in his hands.
Regina leaned forward, eyes slightly widened- intrigued as she nodded at his declination of a drink. “Abilities? What kinds of abilities, dear? I only see it as fair that you share since you are aware of my ability to take hearts,” she hissed, pursing her lips, eyeing the file as he took a gander at it.
“Excellent. But, I must warn you,” she almost whispered, narrowing her eyes once more. “This woman does not have a heart.”
